How Does the Account Reset Option Work?

Updated on September 28, 2026

What is an Account Reset?

A reset provides you with a new Flex evaluation account that has the exact same specifications as your current account. It allows you to wipe the slate clean and start over with a fresh starting balance.

When Should You Use a Reset?

If you exceed your Maximum Drawdown or if your Flex evaluation duration has ended, your account is marked as failed and becomes ineligible to advance to funding. Purchasing a reset issues a new account, allowing you to continue your journey toward funding without having to pay the full price for a brand-new evaluation.

Reset Fees (Flex Accounts Only)

Flex Account SizeReset Fee
$50,000$89.00
$100,000$149.00
$150,000$209.00

Benefits of an Account Reset

  • Unlimited Resets – You can reset your Flex account as many times as needed.
  • Fresh Start – Regain your eligibility and restart with a clear account balance.
  • Immediate Eligibility – Once reset, your account is instantly eligible to pass the evaluation again, provided you meet the profit targets and follow the rules.

Important Note About Direct Accounts

Resets are not available for Direct accounts. Because Direct accounts bypass the evaluation phase and grant immediate simulated funding, any breach of the rules results in the closure of the account. If you lose an account on the Direct plan, you will need to perform a Repurchase of a new account to continue trading.
